"Messi should be banned until Fifa shows he is human" - Iran Coach

 Carlos Queiroz, the coach of the Iranian national team, has asked the FIFA authorities to ban the progress of Barcelona football, because he is too good at that.

The Portuguese Queiroz insists that the Argentine magician must be suspended by FIFA until he can prove that he is not an alien.

The former Real Madrid coach remembers very well how Messi broke the Iranian heart with an amazing time-out winner for Argentina during the group stages of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

And before the 2018 World Cup, where Iran has been attracted to the heavyweights of Spain and Portugal, Queiroz told Fifa.com:

"I've always said that Messi is an extraordinary player, he's out of this world, if he were human, he would not have had that magical moment in that game.

"Normally I do not like to lose, but I did not come out of that defeat with a negative feeling.

"It's when something magical like that happens that you know football is alive and kicking and that's why it's one of the best sports in the world to watch.

"And it's even more of a special moment when it comes from a player that FIFA should not allow to play until it's proven to be really human!"
