Omuaran is the community from which Oyedepo comes in Kwara, North Central, Nigeria
This is Bishop's residence within Landmark University, Omu Aran. The residence serves as your base when you visit Landmark for inaugural conferences, Convocation and Enrollment addresses, when you arrive to preach and most likely during TTG, etc. You will most likely stay here when you visit your community. It is also important to keep in mind that Bishop visits his hometown very regularly for several reasons and seems to be quite close to the past Olomu of Omuaran - Oba Charles Ibitoye, who joined his recent ancestors. Worthy of mention is the fact that it was Oba Charles Ibitoye who convinced Oyedepo to bring some universities from Covenant University to Omu Aran. Oyedepo agreed, but later decided to bring a full-fledged university to Omu Aran.
Currently, Landmark University has more than 400 indigenous people from Omu Aran who work in the PPD of the University. There are also presumably hundreds more working on the farms of the University. The Health Center in Landmark is also very large and serves both the University and the community.
My last visit to Omu Aran made me talk to indigenes and everyone was unanimous in the fact that Oyedepo had contributed a lot to his community.
The house also probably serves as the basis for other members of the University Governing Council.
